Bunk House

Take a look inside of the exhibit of a logging bunk house. During early heyday of sawmills there were hundreds of loggers who lived in logging camps. Their days started at day break and ended at nightfall. They could be fired at the whim of the boss. The food depended on the ability of the cook.

Check out the different kinds of saws, the first chain saws, axes and log branding irons,  and other logging equipment in the open cement building.

****See Gift Shop Host for Big Smoke index on logging.
