Imagine being the first white man to see--- pristine lakes---untouched wilderness -grassy meadows—giant trees---fish jumping in the river---jotting notes in a journal. 

David Thompson--explorer- surveyor- outstanding cartographer- fur trader for Hudson Bay Co. – was the first white man to see our county in all its original richness and beauty.
