Welcome to the Pend Oreille County Historical Museum

     Browse our well-stocked Gift Shop—unique handcrafted items-railroad caps—books by local and northwest authors and much more.

     This building was originally the Idaho & Washington Northern Railroad Depot- architect-Kirkland Cutter-built in 1908. The railroad owned and operated by Fredrick Blackwell until 1916-- Milwaukee RR from 1916-1920s. Pend Oreille County Historical Society purchased in 1970s.
